Eco Print & Natural Dye Quilted Hand Bag
Eco-printing on fabric is a technique where plants, leaves and flowers leave their shapes, color, and marks on fabric. Plant material bundled inside of cloth is steamed to release the dye found naturally inside the plant. This method will create a contact print in the shape of the leaf or flower used. These contact prints are referred to as 'eco-prints'.
This is a very unique quilted hand bag using a eco print fabric that i designed myself. Definitely a one of a kind bag! The fabric is treated with special care and technique before it is dyed using natural dyes; extracted from natural sources. And the shapes/prints of leaves printed on it are so special and they were carefully selected from my garden and some from my lovely neighborhood. All these works took almost 2-3 weeks to complete.
The bag body is constructed in detail using free motion quilting and combined with an elegant metallic handle from Japan. The metal handle is decorated with a pair of handmade fabric leaves that makes it so special; especially for a nature lover!
The size of the bag is spacious and practical; it is enough to carry your essential stuff around; e.g wallet, handphone, books, power bank, car key, pocket tissue, face mask, etc. Inner bag is constructed using a matching floral brown cotton with an open pocket and a zipper pocket.
